ACTIVITIES AND HIGHLIGHTS: Ongoing programs areas of intervention include:
- ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE/ EMPOWERMENT: Small business loan program for spouses of pastors to help them start businesses and to provide financial independence (Republic of Benin); Pilot program to provide small business loans to sponsored students that have graduated from colleges.
- COUNSELING/ MENTORSHIP: Pastoral training and counseling; (Uganda and the Republic of Benin); Counseling for sponsored young adults on life issues that include Christian faith, choosing a life partner, and choosing a career.
- CHURCH PLANTING/ DEVELOPMENT: Establishment of local ACF chapters and planting of churches.
- MEDICAL OUTREACH: Built and opened a medical clinic in the Fort Portal District of Uganda (Kigarama); Construction of a second medical clinic (Kumi, Uganda); Medical treatment and counseling for over 2,000 people in Uganda and the Republic of Benin each year.
- EDUCATION: Sponsorship of students at the Primary, Secondary, Technical Schools and University levels.
